Wind turbine

modifié par Samuel BARBARIN le 13/11/22 à 08:29

This wind turbine aims to serve as an autonomous beacon. The main parts of this wind turbine are easily printable. The electronic part can sample environmental data and relay low energy communication. A little solar panel can also be integrated.

Oil is required to protect the rollings. Some little screws and nuts are also required (M3).

Depending on the conditions of use, it is preferable to increase the number of blades in order to reduce the speed of rotation and improve its operation in light winds. With a greater number of blades, the rotations of the axis are more regular. The hub can be configured in OpenScad to modify the number of blades. Parts, such as blades and tail, are designed from NACA airfoil profiles. This page is using Stl Viewer Javascript Plugin to display 3D parts.
