The forecasts are uploaded each 6 hours from National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. They are updated several times each day from NOOA computation available for downloading. These maps fit personal computer, tablet or smartphone, internet connection needed. New map can be created quickly on demand and time zones are not an issue. You can move the map and change the date and time of the forecast with the slider at the bottom. Several weather data are available in the bottom right corner of the map. Other maps can be created, just ask for a key if you want to insert this map in your own website. The forecasts processing uses python as programming language, the grib format, postgresql for databases with its geographic extension postgis.
The formatting is done with php and javascript as programming languages, openlayers library and data from timezone-boundary-builder and from International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) available from marineregions.org, and openstreetmap. Searching place is done with nominatim.
